Revolution 7v7 appreciates your interest in our travel club. Below, you will find answers to frequently asked questions before our tryouts and tournament play. Q1: Where can you register your child?
A: Visit revolution7v7.net
Q2: How do I register?
A: Go to the age group tab for your child and fill out the informational form.
Q3: Is there a registration fee?
A: Yes, $35.00 (non-refundable).
Q4: Do I have to register online?
A: Yes, all registration must be completed online.
Q5: Will you have makeup tryouts or allow athletes to retry out?
A: Yes, makeup tryouts will take place in December 2025.
Q6: What will be evaluated during tryouts?
A: We evaluate athletic attitude, potential skills, ability to compete, and willingness to be coachable.
Q7: What should athletes bring to tryouts?
A: Football cleats, a mouthpiece, water, and a football (if trying out for quarterback).
Q8: How many players are on a team?
A: Each team can have up to 18 players.
Q9: Will we have multiple teams in the same age bracket
A: Yes, if we have enough coaches and players, we will form multiple teams
Q10: What is the difference between a National Team and a Regional Team?
A: National Teams will travel to other states for competition. Regional Teams play in local tournaments only.
Q11: Can athletes play another sport during the 7v7 season?
A: Yes.
Q12: When does the 7v7 season begin?
A: The season runs from January to early April.
Q13: When and where are practices held?
A: Practices are held once a week for one hour at Go For It Sports Complex in Yorkville, Illinois.

Q14: Which travel team should I sign my child up for if they are currently 10 years old but will turn 11 before or during the season?
A: You will sign your child up for the 12U National Team. If an athlete turns the next age before or during the season, they must register under that age division. This rule applies to all age brackets.
